OK, you’re going to have to trust me on this one, but what you can see here in this photo is…a beautiful little glow worm!

I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw it. Of course I only had my phone with me and this was the best my not-so-techy mobile camera could do. But I was thrilled to bits when I saw it. Last time I saw a glow worm on Tremiti was when I was a child. With the disinfestation carried out throughout the summer to get rid of mosquitoes (we do get a lot of those) unfortunately all sorts of other insects are affected. But this little fighter here made it; teeny little monument to resistance.
